Can I use a different credit card when I arrive to the rental location?

Yes you can, as long as the credit card is in the name of the driver of the vehicle. This is for insurance purposes.

Can I use my airline miles towards my vehicle rental?

CarTrawler does not accept airline miles or credit card points, however you can enquire about this with the local rental company upon checking out your' vehicle.

Do rentals at ski locations include ski racks, snow tyres etc?

Ski racks, snow chains or tyres are not included in the rental price quoted. They are available in some locations and should be specially requested at the time of booking. There is usually a charge for them which is payable locally. No guarantee can be made regarding their availability.

How to complain once my rental is over?

Please send an email to ccm@cartrawler.com stating the reference number and a brief description of the problem.

I no longer need the rental how do I cancel?

To cancel a reservation please call us, making sure you have your reservation ID at hand which was sent to you on the confirmation email. Ireland: (01) 4999 611 International: 00353 14999611 USA: 001 6468451888.

I think i have been charged incorrectly after my rental?

When you picked up your vehicle, you may have agreed or signed for some additional products. You may have also pre-requested some extra's such as a child seat, a roof rack or a one way rental, the cost of which are not ordinarily included in the basic rental price. If this is the case, you will have been charged for these products by our local vehicle rental partner.

Other charges may have resulted from the vehicle not having been returned with proper fuel levels agreed on commencement of hire. Another such charge may have been incurred as a result of damage sustained during the rental period. Once again, in this case, you may have been charged for replacement fuel and/or repair costs of the vehicle.

I wish to add additional days to my vehicle rental?

If your rental has already started then you must contact the rental agency directly, we cannot intervene on your behalf. If the rental has not started yet go to http://www.cartrawler.com/support.asp, go to the Car Hire queries help section. Enter the reservation number and submit a ticket to our system stating the amendments of the booking. Our Reservation Team will contact you shortly.

There is not a full pick up/drop off address for my rental?

The booking engine will contain only the basic booking itinerary details. However your' full booking details will appear on your vehicle Rental Voucher.
